What is SanDisk Cruzer Micro?
The SanDisk Cruzer Micro is a miniature USB drive that uses USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface. My drive has a 1-Gygabyte capacity and came with three translucent sleeves that let you customize the drive’s color to your liking. It comes with a white translucent sleeve on it (the cap that covers the USB jack is also white as is the opposite end that has a loop for a key ring. The package contains two extra “skins”: translucent red and blue. Usage The drive did not require driver installation as my Win 2K SP4 computer recognized the drive upon insertion as a new drive and assigned it a drive letter. The green light illuminates when the drive is recognized and blinks on access. When you are done using the drive, you can use Windows’ “Stop/Eject Hardware” wizard to make sure the drive can be safely removed.
