Shirodhara is a modern purification and rejuvenating therapy based on an ancient Indian technique. In Sanskrit language Shirodhara is composed of two words “shiro” + “dhara”. Shiro means head and Dhara means flow of warm oil on head. Sesame or another base oil is mixed with a few drops of aromatic essential oil to create the liquid.
