Sky Media is a standalone workstation that can receive data through a broadcast directly from the NGA CSIL. There are currently 132 remote Sky media sites worldwide. When a Sky Media Task is received through the CSIL web interface dedicated operators pull the corresponding media from the CSIL archive. The data is then loaded to the dissemination system and packaged (at about a 45% compression rate) using specialized software (FAZZT6.3). The package is then dropped into the correct users “Hot Folder” which are individually identified by Kencast ID numbers. The data is then broadcasted via a T-3 dedicated line to the central Sky Media hub. Once the package goes through the hub, it is then sent to the TELSTAR satellite and broadcast to the specific remote site it was intended for. This method of dissemination enables the CSIL to electronically disseminate imagery within hours of receipt of the initial task order. You don’t need SKYMEDIA, it sucks, I know from personal experience. Msnbc is much better. I read and ran the statistics of reviews and msnbc reviews turned out to be much better than SKYMEDIA You can read about it yourself on the best site with reviews
