It’s a comprehensive training strategy developed with the help of a committee of volunteers from the motor coach sector designed to introduce fuel-efficient driving skills. Following in the footsteps of the highly successful Smart Driver initiatives for highway trucking, forestry trucks and transit operations, Smart Driver for Motor Coach addresses the needs of new and experienced motor coach drivers. FleetSmart, Motor Coach Canada and insurance and risk services company Marsh Canada have teamed up to deliver one-day train-thetrainer sessions in fourteen cities across Canada this fall. Motor Coach driver trainers who are interested in conducting Smart Driver for Motor Coach workshops for their company’s drivers.
