Too much to answer here, but the posts above have done quite a good job. I have been traveling in Spain for the last 18 months and am writing a blog, not just about my travels but giving some history of this beautiful country also, it will give you more of a feel for the place. I have put a link below. You really need to get some books on Spain though, and read about it yourself, the history is very interesting. For example, it's the only mainstream european country that was ruled by muslims, which lasted for several centuries. Later all muslims(and jews) were forced to convert to christianity or expelled during the Spanish Inquisition. Also the Basque people and language(very different to all other european languages) date back to before indo-european people. It's well worth reading about! ¡Ciao! more

Sunny and mild temperatures, the Catalan coast, paella and tapas, sangria and cava, FC Barcelona, Picasso, Gaudí and Dalí... And you can find all this on the Costa Brava, which is famous for being a nice place to spend your holidays.

I think you should come! It has everything I told you before, and if you want to see FC Barcelona and the most famous Gaudí works, you can go to Barcelona by train, it's not far away...

If you want to see live why Spain is famous for, I suggest you rent an apartment in Costa Brava or in Barcelona.
