What is Sugar Syrup?
Sugar syrup, also known as simple syrup, bar syrup, or simple sugar syrup, is a very basic combination of sugar and water. Sugar syrup may also include some sort of flavoring, especially when used to make flavored drinks like those found in a coffee shop. Making sugar syrup at home is very easy, although care must be taken to properly cook it, otherwise the texture can be too grainy to be a true sugar syrup.
