You could also try to borrow “A History of Buddhism in Australia: 1848 to 1988” by Paul Croucher, published by University of New South Wales Press. It is out of print but should be available in libraries. Otherwise, look at the history of Buddhism article in our “Articles and Sutras” section. Look in the “Organisations” section under ‘Vajrayana’ and you will find the Tibetan groups. They may be able to help you with photographs.
