What is Sydney St John Service (SSJS)? How will ACTiV8 Cebu integrate with the International Community of St John pilgrimage?
SSJS is the preparation team for Sydney WYD 2008 constituted by the Community of St John; it is based in the Communitys headquarters in France. It coordinates all the pilgrimages from all the priories of the Community worldwide and liaises with the central authorities in Sydney and in Rome. ACTiV8 will be registered as a group in this International Delegation, which will count hopefully 800 members. We will join in the St John Mission in a diocese adjacent to Sydney before WYD, and participation in the activities in the Meeting Center of St John in Central Sydney during the WYD. In short, we will be at home there!!
