What is the 3-1-1 rule I have been hearing about?
TSA requires any gels or liquids carried through the checkpoint must be in containers of 3 ounces or less and packed in one quart zip top bags. They need to be removed from bags and placed in bins for individual screening. Only one zip-top bag is allowed per passenger through the security checkpoint.
