What is the academic training and testing like during USMC Boot camp?
Judging by the lack of grammatical mistakes in your question the odds are very close to 100% you’re not failing. Like everyone said you’ll get the knowledge book and they’ll call it by that cool little “green monster” name. Your general orders will be drilled in to your head and don’t be surprised if you hear someone start spouting off the general orders in their sleep. In boot camp you’ll memorize everything because the focus is not on comprehending but passing the class. When the knowledge test is the next test in your training cycle your DI’s will focus heavily on cramming in to your head Marine Corps history and other fun topics everywhere you go. You’ll hear it almost constantly during the day and you’ll learn them or you’ll have really large biceps from the push-ups you’ll end up doing for not knowing. Bottom line is you’re fine.
