What is the accuracy of using the burette compared to using the measuring cylinder?
• I’m investigating the concentration of ethanoic acid in white rice, sarson distilled and white wine vinegar and I am very concerned about distillation with white wine and rice vinegar because it takes me so long to distill small amount of ethanoic acid. Lets say I obtained 10 cm3 of ethanoic acid on the actual day … how can I titrate this? I have to do at least do three titrations to get an average titre value and this seems impossible to do on this small portion of ethanoic acid?
