What is the advantage and disadvantages of computer network and communications?

The main advantage of a network is that computers can share information. A computer network can store more data than a stand-alone computer. This is great if you have a business because your employees can exchange vital information easier. The main disadvantage would be security concerns, i.e. someone hacking into your network.
