What is the advantage of using a high-silica and rounded sand in constructing a water well?
A high-silica sand is resistant to the effects of acid well rehabilitation treatments. Since silica is inert it will not impart and adverse impacts on the quality of your well water. Rounded sand grains provide the highest porosity and permeability, are less likely to compact during well development and will also allow the well development procedure to be as effective as possible.
