The color is not as deep and rich and is not washable. With the reactive and disperse dying there is a 4 step process, pre-treatment of the fabric, printing, steaming, and then washing. Yes this makes the process more time consuming for us but makes the final product better for you. In the end, printing with reactive and disperse dyes as opposed to textile pigments gives you a fabric more vivid in color, washable and softer in hand than other digital printing companies offering pigment dyed fabrics. For example, if you want to make a nice sheet set for bedding you would want to use a fabric that was printed in the reactive dye process which would make the sheets very soft and would be able to be washed again and again with no fading.
