A. The AMA is the American Medical Association and the AOA is the American Osteopathic Association. An AMA physician profile is required of all applicants applying for a full medical license and an AOA physician profile is required of all applicants applying for a full osteopathic license. To complete the AMA physician profile go to: https://profiles.ama-assn.org/amaprofiles/ and choose ‘Physician Profile’; to complete the AOA physician profile go to: https://www.doprofiles.org/, go to the box titled ‘Physicians’ and choose ‘Send Your Profile’. Your profile will be sent to us directly from the AMA or AOA. Please also refer to the application instructions, page 3 #11.
