What is the antagonist of the story of cain and abel?
In my opinion, I believe than Cain is the antagonist of the story. Able is more of a hero because he obeyed God’s command and offered the correct sacrifice. Cain’s anger and feelings of being wronged were of his own doing. It was his selfishness and lack of obedience which prompted Cain to offer harvested foods instead of the dictated livestock. Also, it was his own pride which drove him to murder.
