What is the arts branding logo?
Developed by the Arts and Fine Crafts Sector, Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment, this new image was developed to help artists and arts organizations market their products to consumers. Adding this image to all arts and fine craft products produced by NWT artists authenticates your products to consumers, world-wide, as created and produced in the NWT. The logo will also become the basis for industry and government efforts to market and promote the NWT arts industry as a whole. “The Northwest Territories is renowned worldwide for its unique and quality arts and fine crafts,” the Minister said. “The growth and development of this sector is a priority of our Government – and a key goal of the Department of Industry, Tourism and Investment.” Fort Smith artist Chris Dewolf created the design, chosen by representatives of the NWT Arts Council, to be the inspiration for the new branding logo.
