What is the ASTA Annual Convention?
The Annual Convention is attended by over 500 seed industry professionals representing small, medium and large companies focused on different seed industry segments: large row crops (corn, soybeans, cotton, and sorghum), flower, vegetable, and grass seed. As part of the ASTA Annual Convention, ASTA engages in wide-ranging discussions on such topics as biotechnology, organics, breeding advancements, ag-policy, and international trade. In addition to exposing participants to these exciting topics, the Campus Connections program will also include one-on-one mentoring. Who is able to participate in Campus Connections and how do they apply? Applicants for the Campus Connections program must be current undergraduate students in their junior year working towards a bachelor’s degree in a seed-related area of study or Ag-Business/Economics.
