What is the average hourly salary for a nighttime janitor?

emo kid you live in canada where everything cost more so you make more. I can counter your remark by saying isn't it illegal that they charge you 20,000 for a car in Canada when here it cost 17,000--- Duh -- I am not a janitor and I have no desire to be one but if it meant putting food on the table i would do it without question. So don't feel like a loser like the guy above me is trying to make you feel like. Your starting salary is bad or good depending on where you live. I would say in New York very bad. But if you lived in an area that cost less to live then its not so bad. If your going to be a janitor you should do it at night for a school so you get the benefits of the government I think these are the guys that make a lot of money because if they stay for a while thay get raises every year it jumps there wage up and after 4 or 5 years there are making some decent money.  more
