Please follow these steps: 1) Create a new, empty folder. 2) Copy your QuarkXPress application into that folder. 3) Create a folder called “XTension” inside of the folder that you created in step 1. 4) Copy the XTensions in question into the new, empty XTension folder. For example, if you are troubleshooting a Font Collector issue, then you would copy the MIS Utility Enabler XTension and MIS Font Collector XTension into that folder. 5) Launch that copy of the QuarkXPress application. 6) Test the XTension to see if you can duplicate the problem. 7) If the problem goes away, then you have a QuarkXPress XTension conflict. If the problem persists, continue with the next step. 8) Re-start your Macintosh, holding down the Shift key. Your O/S startup screen should say “Extensions Disabled”. 9) The system will then boot with extensions disabled.
