What is the best Airline to get to Greece?

The best airline is the one that gets you there without delays for the best price with the fewest stops and layovers. People say "I will never fly such and such and airline..." but I have flown them all and they can all be equally bad or good. A great deal depends upon the crew, traffic and of course time of year. Both Olympic and Delta fly nonstop from NYC-Kennedy to Athens.I have flown Olympic and Delta more than I have flown any other airlines and have had great flights on each and been miserable on each. I suppose there was a time when you could have said that the quality of service on Olympic was lower but the standards of all the airlines have fallen so steadily that it does not matter who you fly with. I will say this though. The planes that Olympic uses for their NY to Greece route are better than the ones Delta uses for that route. As for the staff, generally the Delta staff are very helpful. The Olympic flights it depends on the crew.  more
