What is the best bedding for a leopard gecko?
Paper towels and newspapers are generally more cheaper to use. However, you have to make sure you clean it often to avoid bacteria build-up. I use tiles for the bottom of my gecko’s tank. They’re easy to clean (just heat them up in the oven) and they hold heat much more effectively. That way, if you ever have a power outage, you don’t have to worry as much. Likewise, if you have paper towels, you have to keep checking up on the gecko. Slate tiles are also a nice touch to a gecko’s tank, depending on what color you get.
