What is the best brand of violin for a beginner to buy?

First of all, if your beggining, you should NOT *BUY* a violin, because youll just grow out of it, so you should rent it until your in a full size. The brand of violin doesnt really matter as long as its good quality. I’d talk to your teacher about it. A great place to go is Johnsons Strings located in Newton MA. They let you test out the violin before you buy/rent it. When you rent it, you should always buy rosin for the bow. The little begginer violin cases come with rosin, but they are not very good quality. You should always buy extra string too, you never know when you might snap one! You also may buy/rent a shoulder rest. I highly reccomend it because then when you play, your head will always be down. You should also buy a bow extender, just incase. OPTIONAL: Buying an extra bow is very handy, because sometimes your bow will snap. Extra bows are not for rent. Hope i helped!!!!
