What is the best Disneyland Hotel?
There are many nice hotels around Disneyland but if you want to stay at one of the 3 Disneyland properties and cost is not a factor then I must agree with the other answers and recommend the Grand Californian. It is the closest of the 3 to Disneyland and, with it’s own entrance to the California Adventures Park, is probably the most convenient. Certainly as the newest of the 3 it is done up very nicely and is in generally better shape than the others. If cost is a factor then I would suggest the Paradise Pier hotel which is the cheapest of the 3 properties and the farthest away, though not by more than a couple of minutes walk. All of the properties are close to Disneyland of course and all are designed to guide you through Downtown Disney with it’s various shops and restaurants. One thing I do recommend, take in one of the character breakfasts, either at the hotels or in Disneyland itself.
