We make gelato together all the time. This machine makes 1 quart of fantastic gelato. I love it. It will give you a smooth creamy gelato in 35 to 40 minutes depending on the type custard and your desired consistancy if you use a chilled container. 60 minutes if you don’t chill it. It comes with a nice starter recipe book. It also makes fantastic frozen drinks. If you are looking for something larger try the LELLO GELATO PRO 4090 this machine makes 2 quarts. Have no personal knowledge of this machine, but how different can it be.
