What is the best golf ball?
That is a very subjective question. There is no definitive “best ball.” It depends on what you are looking for, most manufacturers have a wide range of balls depending on your desires… long carry distance long roll distance soft feel high spin soft feel low spin high trajectory mid trajectory low trajectory high compression low compression or any combination of the above, plus a few more. In general tour players play balls that have softer feel and mid to high spin rates so they have more control over the ball, though these balls are not what is typically good for an average player. (Too much spin = bigger slice/hook) The real answer to that is whichever one you want to play that fits your needs and is in your budget. Some balls are super expensive. Unless you are shooting mid to low 80’s on a normal course though there really isn’t much difference you’re going to notice in any golf ball to be honest though. I don’t know what you shoot but that’s the threshold where most people start
