What is the best horse for beginners?

If you are just starting to learn to ride I suggest you find a place located near you to receive lessons. You will become very well rounded in learning how to care and treat a horse while riding. Your trainer will determine which type of horse would suit your personality and body. For beginners they usually place with an older calm horse. Therefore you can bond with it and gain confidence. After you gain confidence with riding talk to your trainer about possibly getting a new horse. Hope this helped!
For a beginner rider, I suggest starting with lessons and then you and your trainer can better determine a first horse that would be good for your level. Many people will suggest that a Quarter Horse is the most gentle and mild mannered for a beginner. And also an older, experienced gentle horse is a good choice, but again I would speak with your trainer first after getting lessons. That way you can determine this together and gain some experience.
