What is the best kind of baby food?

The best baby food is probably one you make yourself, using organic and locally grown produce. When you make your own baby food you are 100% aware of what’s going in your little ones tummy. If you are going to be feeding jar food, try to find an organic brand like Earths Best or Plum Organics.

i use earth’s best it comes in a glass jar and is organic…also i have read that you should not make homemade carrots, beets and some other underground grown food due to the fact that some areas have high nitrate levels in the soil and baby food companies are aware of this and test for it and don’t buy from areas that are known for their high levels so sometimes i think store bought is safer. i don’t know for a fact but i know that some sippy cups that were a gift and i have since recycled were gerber had bpa so i’m ASSUMING their baby food containers do but i could be WRONG!!

Earths Best is pretty decent or you could make it yourself. Its really easy to do homemade baby food, and you can get containers to keep it. Gerber also sells baby food in jars as well and you can usually find different things from different makers. At my grocery store, I found a hidden stash of baby food in the organic section that I wouldn’t have found in the baby isle and there was a ton of different delicious things for the baby to try. Just look around and try to find a place with a big selection. Target is pretty decent if there isn’t a good selection at your grocer.
