Cell manufacturers recommend that the Li-ionbatteries are stored at 40% capacity and approximately room temperature (or a little below) conditions. Research shows that storage, at elevated temperatures of charged Li-ion batteries, is the by far the most detrimental condition; yet, cell manufacturers recommend refurbishment after one year of storage, regardless of the condition.
