If not large projects, then at least one project manager, but if these are large and large projects, then of course more managers are needed there. This is how our system for developing software https://innovecs.com/software-development-in-usa/ works, and such a system has proved itself to be excellent.

I think that it’s better to refer to a checked and high-quality company. I am currently using¬† https://opengeekslab.com/mobile-development/, which is a reliable company, allowing to make any software, application that you need.

I think that the issue is not that important and the ratio may vary according to a management style the company has chosen. So if you want to hire at software development company, it’s better to focus your attention on other aspects. Here you can get some information about how it’s better to choose a proper company.

In companies developing software products work is being done by team members located around the world. From an efficiency or quality standpoint I’d like to know if there is a guideline or optimal number for manager to employee ratio. For example, in offshore locations it may be possible for single person to manage more people because the manager can focus on being a pure functional manager while core product dev teams provide project and technical direction. I guess the opposite might be true with managers in onshore locations; they can directly manager fewer people because they need to monitor and coordinate more offshore locations. Any thoughts or experiences are much appreciated.
