What is the best resolution for my 17`crt monitor?
It’s a matter of preference and personal opinion more than anything. It’s what displays best, we really can’t tell you. It comes down to visually testing the individual resolutions and see which ones display best for the applications you normally use. If you have bad eyesight, the lower resolutions are better to make the letters on the screen readable. Otherwise, you want as high resolution as feasibly possible, usually 1280×1024 to display as much as possible on the screen at one time, especially if you use multiple windows open at one time. If you don’t use large spreadsheets or multiple windows, the lower resolution of1024x768 will reduce eyestrain.
