I am not familiar with the specific task involved, but I assume you are interested in measuring your employees' ability to detect and recognize small color changes. Probably the best test for that would be the Farnsworth-Munsell 100-Hue Test. It is a fairly simple to administer test that evaluates color discrimination ability and also screens for color deficiencies. It is currently sold by GretagMacbeth.
