What is the best video editing software and hardware?
I’ve been editing for years and I know people who have edited on Premiere, Avid, & FCP, FCP has emerged as the most reliable software program out there. They even have the scaled down version for the home user. Don’t get suckered into an inexpensive “computer store” version. FCP is intuitive, meaning the software will make sense to you even if you don’t read the manual (unless you have NO experience at all).You can use your camera or a special deck to import your footage via firewire. No hardware needed. Video editing has never been so affordable or easy so now is a great time to jump in.
