Option 1 (for smaller amounts or ones that haven’t been sitting long) – soak up urine with a paper towel or other absorbant cloth. Douse area with club soda and then soak up. Let dry completely. When dry, cover the area with baking soda and leave on for a minimum of 15 minutes though longer is better. Option 2 (for when some time has passed since the accident occured) – after soaking the up the urine with a paper towel, alternately sprinkle baking soda and white distilled vinger (which will actually foam when mixed). The reason why this works is that the baking soda is alkaline so it will neutralize acid odors in urine, while white distilled vinegar is acid which neutralize alkaline odors.
