What is the best way to get right with God if I am Jewish?
The only way to God is through Jesus. Jesus fulfilled prophecies written about in the bible in advance. Prophecies were written about before his birth. His crucifixion was written about before crucifixions had even been invented. God wrote prophecies so that He could fulfill them and prove to us that Jesus was the Messiah and so that we can see the bible as the word of God.
The only way to get right with God is to have faith in what Jesus did – He was the final lamb sacrifice. The OT sacrifices made atonement for sins but only temporarily. God was preparing the Jews for the big future sacrifice of Jesus Christ, that they may understand the concept of blood sacrifices to God as atonement for sins. Jesus Christ was the final lamb sacrifice, spotless and perfect to pay the debt for the sins of those who would believe in Him. We could not pay that debt as we are sinners and not perfect like Jesus was.
We must plead to God to forgive us for our sins and acknowledge what Jesus did for us on the cross, having faith in what He did and that it pays for our sins completely. It is then that God will forgive us and will change us instantly. You will feel the Holy Spirit enter your body and He will dwell within you and never leave you… you will become a new creature, with eyes opened to the truth and that debt of sins paid for. Another thing – you will know you have eternal life 🙂

You probably know that in the Tanakh (Old Testament) the only way to get right with God was to obey all the laws (the Ten Commandments and a whole lot more) perfectly for your entire life. Unfortunately, we cannot obey all the Old Testament laws—it simply is not possible—yet with God, we have to obey them all to be right with Him. So, now we had a problem. Being Jewish, you probably know that in the Old Testament the temporary solution to this were the many sacrifices—a way to push back our sins—but an inadequate way to “pay” for our sins. Still, the focus was always looking forward to the “perfect” sacrifice of the Messiah or Savior. We now know that this is Jesus. There are over 300 prophecies about the Messiah in the Old Testament, all of which had to be fulfilled by the Messiah, and Jesus fulfilled all of them.
