The most basic lines you can practice are the straight line witht the angled edges and the crescent moon. Practice these over and over again. 2. Google "Old English" alphabet and print a sheet off. Old English is the best to start off because it is relatively simply to write. 3. There are two keys to callligraphy: keep the pen at the correct angle and each pen stroke should be fluid and graceful. 4. If you really want to be inspired, google "Arabic calligraphy." It is the most beautiful writing on earth.
