Each color is a separate screen, and each color is usually an additional price. Many screen printers also charge “set up fees”, though if you call around you might find a printer who doesn’t add this charge to the price of the project. Printing on dark colored shirts require an under printing of white, so that the other colors will be visible. This counts as one of the colors/screens you’d be paying for, even if the white isn’t visible in the finished shirt. Ideally, this is done by “flash curing” the white under-printing. If you’re planning on printing on dark shirts, ask the printer if they do flash curing. You will need to buy supplies in order to do any silk screening.
