I am currently taking Zoloft for anxiety and OCD. I am having bad side effects from the medication and will need to stop taking it. I have only taken zoloft 50 mg for one month. My doctor says just stop taking it since it's only been 4 weeks. Has anyone else stopped suddenly like that even if only on it for 4 weeks? If so, did it make you sick with withdrawal symptoms. Also, does anyone know of some kind of herbal tea that might help with anxiety? A: There should be no withdrawal symptoms. I've taken it for about 3-4 weeks and stopped with no side effects whatsoever. Yogi brand teas are delicious and they have one with Kava-Kava in it that I drink on occasion. You might want to try it. Sleepytime Teas also has one with Valerian root that is good for bedtime.
