What is the best West Side (Santa Monica/Venice) area sushi restaurant?

Echigo is the best on the West Side. I've eaten at the best sushi restaurants around the world, and i can tell you Echigo is right up there with sushi bars that cost 3x as much. The blue crab roll is amazing--you'll order two. Butter fish, bonito, Norwegian mackerel and toro are my favorites at echigo. The parking spaces on street level say 30 minutes, but you can ignore that since nothing else is really open at night. Get the chef's choice the first time.  more
