What is the best wood to use for building outdoor furniture?

Either cypress or cedar. A lot of people tend to favor cypress, but I personally lean to cedar; however, both are great. Ironically, cedar seems to be a little more resistant to water than cypress. They both can be stained if you prefer, but both have a beautiful natural weathered color when left out.
