The BBB has a variety of rating methods they use to rate a site. In some states, a simple grading system is used (A+ B- etc.). In other states, the company profile is given a "satisfactory" rating or an "unsatisfactory" rating. A "satisfactory" rating means the site has had few or no complaints and they've resolved all of them to the customers' satisfaction. An "unsatisfactory" rating means the site has received a few complaints and has not resolved them.
