What is the Bibles view on marijuana and other drugs?
Yes, God made the Marijuana Plant, but from a Christian view; there must be another use for it other than to smoke it, because it does alter our minds. In the Bible it says; “A drunken man cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven”. I believe this refers to ANYTHING that becomes consuming in your life. I am a past smoker, and I loved the way it made me feel spiritually. I thought that I was really close to God, when I was not. If I have to use a substance to feel safe and at peace, then I am not fully walking with God, and I do not fully understand why Jesus died for me. I need a relationship with HIM; not a substance. There are many distractions in this world; that is what Satan intends! Usually the most controversial are really about our morals; and based on what we know to be true, the decisions we are going to make. Whether it be alcohol, food, drugs (presciption AND street), exercise, sex, etc. These things that consume OUR hearts instead of God being in that role, are all things we are
