What is the Cabbage Patch Kids Limited Edition Snuggle Beans?
I actually thought when I was purchasing this doll that it was the exact same as the Cabbage Patch Kids Newborn Doll but sold without the accessories. I was wrong, however, in that the Snuggle Beans are a unique doll. Outwardly they look just like the Newborn dolls and if put next to each other you wouldn’t know which is a Newborn Doll and which is a Snuggle Bean. But they are constructed differently, and are indeed different dolls. Instead of being a stuffed doll with a soft body and plastic head, the Snuggle Beans have bodies that are filled with beans similar to a beanie toy. Their hands and feet are stuffed soft but the rest of their bodies are full of beans. This makes them extra cuddly and snuggly, like their names say. My 22 month old daughter has an easy time of carrying it around and hugging and holding onto it – better, I’d say, than a regular stuffed doll.
