The Cambridgeshire Food Liaison Group have developed a County Wide Mobile Catering Registration Scheme. All mobile food units that are registered in Cambridgeshire will be issued with their own registration disc and inspection record document. The registration disc should be displayed on the catering unit when operating and the inspection record document carried on the vehicle at all times. The disc and record will be valid throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Its aim is to stop the multiple inspections that moveable premises often are subject to when they trade across boundaries. This scheme will therefore cut down on inspecting officer time and will mean that the trader will usually only receive inspections by the Local Authority that it is registered as a food business with. It will also help the trader, as less time will be spent with different officers. For further information on how to get a disc, or if you have lost your current disc/record, please contact the Commercial T
