“Dehumanization” is essentially what occurs when an individual or society no longer values life or dignity. “Dehumanization” occurs when members of a society are desensitized to things that Human Beings never allow to occur: murder, rape and pillage. In other words, they are either constantly exposed to this trinity, or they live in a society where these crimes are tolerated or encouraged.
