What is the City’s current fee schedule pertaining to burglar alarms?
This schedule is available online at Fremont.gov On page 37 of the Master Fee Schedule, the initial permit fee for an alarm is $40, renewable every two years from the date of application for $20. An “excessive service fee” of $60 will be levied when police respond to more than 3 false alarms in a 120-day period or 5 in a 365 day-period at the same site.
