The Edinburg Fire Department currently has 4 fire stations. See “Stations” for their addresses and a map for the one closest to your home. If you live within the city limits of Edinburg there should be hydrants in your neighborhood, check near your home for the closest hydrant. If you live in a rural area you may or may not have a hydrant in your neighborhood. Many newer rural subdivisions have hydrants supplied by North Alamo Water Department. They have also added hydrants to major roads in the past few years. Check around the area where you live for a hydrant. The Edinburg Fire Department has fire trucks that are built to serve our rural areas, we also have 2 tanker trucks that each hold 2000 gallons of water.
