What is the concept of Jihad in Islam ?
PMMR: Jihad is the part of basic ideology of Islam. Our Prophet (Peace be upon him) himself participated in many wars against infidels. Jihad mean struggle, sometimes Muslims do jihad by tongue to save, preach and spread Islam and to answer the questions against Islam while sometimes to save the nation Muslims do Jihad by weapons. At present almost all Islamic countries have regular Armed forces. The Government of every country owns defense department and armed forces and so public is not required to make the first move until they are called. Although, killing of a common man without any reason is not Jihad. Bomb blasts and other violent activities do not come under the concept of Jihad and Government should take serious actions against the responsible factors. However, those countries which are occupied by foreign invasion have the right to fight against it and no law of world can stop them.
