What is the connection between fly tying and the March of Dimes?
One of the founding members of the Fayetteville Fly Tiers works in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit caring for 100’s of infants annually who are critically ill because of being born prematurely. The Fly Tie-a-thon was conceived as a way to combine the passion (if not addiction) to fly tying with a way to raise money for working to eliminate the problem of premature birth.
