What is the credit card security code?
The “Security Code”, or CVV2, is a three digit code printed on the back of your credit card. Often it appears after the last four digits of your credit card number. We ask for your security code to provide increased protection against unauthorized use of your card. Contact support@peoplespharmacy.com with any further questions about using your credit card at the People’s Pharmacy Store.
The Credit Card Security Code, also called the Credit Card Verification Value (CVV or CVV2), is an additional safety feature on the credit card. For VISA and MasterCard this is usually a three-digit code, which appears on the far right of the signature strip following the last digits of your card number. American Express cardholders will find the four-digit code printed on the front.
The Card Security Code is the group of numbers immediately following your credit card number. These numbers are used by your credit card company to help prevent fraud. Because the Card ID number is not printed on your receipts, it helps ensure that someone is not using your credit card information fraudulently.
